SERICO-IMPRO TO JOIN PLASTIC DECORATORS

In a continued effort to offer full service decoration and value added services to help clients with their decorating decisions, Jamie Goren, through his holding company, is delighted to announce the acquisition of Serico-Impro, a 15-year veteran in the bottle decoration industry.

“This was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up,” said Jamie Goren, President of Plastic Decorators. “With Serico-Impro on board, we’re able to add capacity and experienced personnel at the same time. In addition, Serico-Impro will come out ahead with operating synergies and benefit from the experience of our management team.”

Giselle Bussiere, the current owner and President of Serico-Impro, will be staying on until February 2009 as a consultant at Plastic Decorators, lending her 15 years of experience in bottle decoration and ensuring a seamless transition. “For Serico-Impro, the fit with Plastic Decorators was too perfect to pass up. With Mr. Goren in the lead, I feel completely comfortable that our people and business will be well taken care of for a long time to come.”

With Flexstyle Graphics in the mix, the three companies are uniquely positioned to supply a wide range of printing solutions to the Quebec, Ontario, Vermont and Upstate New York markets. Flexstlye is a customer-service focused supplier of labels printed and commercial printing in both traditional and digital formats that’s been serving these markets since 1994.

The head office for all companies will be at 8170 De l’Industrie, in Ville d’Anjou, while Serico-Impro’s operations will remain at their current location for the immediate future.

Plastic Decorators, in business for 47 years, is in the business of bottle decoration, catering mainly to the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Operating in the greater Montreal area, they apply screen printing, pad printing or hot stamping decoration to bottles supplied by clients.
